Saying goodbye
Apr. 23rd, 2007 11:47 amI'm at work right now, waiting for the clock to tick down.
I came in because the vet didn't open until 9, and after I called, I don't have an appointment with them until 3.
Hobbes reached a crisis point this weekend. Or rather I did. He's in some discomfort, besides the incessant sneezing (the tumor is encroaching on his sinuses, I assume) and it's only going to get worse. I don't want to have my beautiful, loving cat in pain. I had a hard enough time the once he had a kidney stone.
In a few minutes I'm going to go home and have lunch and say goodbye to my companion of 11 years, my stepcat, my mustang-purring shoulder-cat, my part-labrador part-siamese attack-lover-cat.
See you on the flip-side, Hobbsie, it was a good run.
