mishadayI didn't exactly expect to get paid quite so quickly, as the offical pay-date isn't until Monday, but the check was sitting fat and happy in my account this morning, and so I got around to balancing my check book and paying some bills. I practice avoidance therapy with my bank account - if there's nothing in it, I avoid all things money related, including balancing the checkbook. Sometimes that doesn't work out too well, but this month I squeaked through.
Bills are paid: credit card, cell phone, credit card, student loan, credit card (a whole $7.63 - take that evil usurer! Now watch as I destroy the card! Ahahahahaha...hem. Yes. Quite.)
I have money left over, and I'm dreadfully tempted to hit up my wishlists, both on Amazon, and the 'other stuff' I keep on my Palm, but that would be a Bad Thing. Well, mostly. Maybe if I can actually keep some money in my account until next paycheck. The next Library Book Sale isn't until next month, after payday, so I'm covered there. Hmm. Torn. Hmm. Books. Hmm.
OH! I just remembered - I haven't redeemed my Amazon gift certificate that Lori gave me for Christmas! Happy Christmas, me!
