Her head, it asploded

We gather now to mourn Misha's head, which asploded this morning in a spray of snot. Her cats are currently working hard at piecing it back together with purrs and tea, but in the meantime, let us have a moment of silence for the asplosion of her head.
I really expected to have sore muscles from toting boxes, but I quit a little early when I rubbed a blister into my heel from my hiking boots, and instead I have a bit of a cold. It'd be enough to keep me home from work, but I can't pass up the free books and the 6 I can pre-purchase as a volunteer. I'm thinking of passing on the rest of the sale, though. I've been current on my hardcover fiction purchases, and can't think of anything else I might pick up. The whole running out of space on my shelves thing is a wee tiny factor in that decision, too. Wee sma, though.

Date: 2005-09-23 09:13 pm (UTC)I'm sending a large thought-mug of Peppermint Tea to ease the Aching of the Asploded Head. Also, some good chicken soup (with garlic cloves, of course). The a nice long nap, with lots of blankies & warm kitties, to sweat the nasty stuff out.
Followed with a good hot shower, and you might feel human again soon.
*cossets*
PS: Mom just sent my stainless steel teapot, filled w/ tea! :-) *dances*
