mishaday | In sickness and in... well, more sickness

Despite my cold, I put in my hours at the lovely, lovely Seattle Friends of the Library Book Sale. mmm... books.

Surprisingly, I only took home 8 of them: 2 free ones for volunteering and 6 that we were allowed to buy on Friday pre-Members Pre-Sale. Ah, elitism, thy name is bibliophile. Only one bit of fiction: The One Kingdom by Sean Russell. He's got a wonderful style, but it is the first book of a series, and I'm kinda burnt on those.

I forwent the actual sale itself - I'd said hi to the books as I unpacked them, and really didn't need to stuff more onto my shelves. Friday night was Onyxia, and Saturday was Gordon's end of the world party. (Because the world was supposed to end yesterday. Glad it didn't, because:

Today the cold continued, but I was all set to finally get off my butt and go do a few errands. Both close Flexcars completely booked. Denied! So. Much gaming instead.

I think I'm going to call in sick tomorrow and try and actually get food into my pantry and maybe beat down my cold a little more. Won't be doing much productive at work anyway.
