mishadayI finished The Trilogy today - picked up the Return of the King practically first thing, and zip I'm done by noon. Poor Frodo. I was all sniffly towards the end. And now I'm much better with being Eowyn - she kicks so much ass, killin' the King of the Nazgul like that. <g>
I've been popping oranges like candy today - we popped by the grocery store yesterday so I could get the roast for dinner (and now I've got tons of leftovers for sammiches. Mmm....roast beef. Wait, that was a tangent, where was I? Right - oranges.
'Tis the season for Clementines - I got hooked on them the year before last or something, when I was still in Kansas. We'd buy them by the boxes and go through them in a week. This year I think I'll do that just by myself. They're beautiful little things - small and sweet and seedless. Perfect fruity goodness.
I think I need to go eat one of them sammiches - the two pots of tea have more than kicked in, and while cleaning my room and emptying more boxes is good, Mishas cannot live on oranges alone.
