I finished The Trilogy today - picked up the Return of the King practically first thing, and zip I'm done by noon. Poor Frodo. I was all sniffly towards the end. And now I'm much better with being Eowyn - she kicks so much ass, killin' the King of the Nazgul like that. <g>

I've been popping oranges like candy today - we popped by the grocery store yesterday so I could get the roast for dinner (and now I've got tons of leftovers for sammiches. Mmm....roast beef. Wait, that was a tangent, where was I? Right - oranges.

'Tis the season for Clementines - I got hooked on them the year before last or something, when I was still in Kansas. We'd buy them by the boxes and go through them in a week. This year I think I'll do that just by myself. They're beautiful little things - small and sweet and seedless. Perfect fruity goodness.

I think I need to go eat one of them sammiches - the two pots of tea have more than kicked in, and while cleaning my room and emptying more boxes is good, Mishas cannot live on oranges alone.

Yes!!!!! I wonder if I can get them out here in lala land -- I haven't seen 'em but something in the back of my head has been whispering about them. I don't eat oranges as rule, but give me a crate of Clementines and I'll work my way through them like no tomorrow. Yum! Gotta ask my local supermarket about them.... I mean, we have everything else fruit-wise, why not Clementines, right?

And as for tangents - I'm famous for them. And when I'm talking, sometimes I can't find my way back and have to ask the listener why I did what I did and where I started from.... :)

The ones I got were California Clemmies, so I'd imagine so.

When I wander off on tangents and get lost, I have to back up a few subjects and see if I can't follow my logic back to the tangent-point. It doesn't always work.
