We watched a hockey game tonight. Western Hockey League, Seattle Thunderbirds vs. the Tri-Cities Americans. The players are babies - 16 to 22, which I didn't fully comprehend until I was staring at the program afterward and seeing birthdates. '85? He was born in 1985? Aaaahhh!'
I was already broken though. They had little Hockey Basics for Dummies pamphlets at the box office before we went in, and my little brain went snap when I saw that there's a penalty called slashing. Wheeeeeee!
