Lost in the middle of the week
Jun. 27th, 2001 08:22 amVague, interesting Buffy/Angel dreams last night - running around Sunnydale or LA or maybe it was just San Jose made up to be one of the others. Vamps and monsters and spells, oh my.
I've forgotten my keys and my watch, and never did get around to paying the damn bills last night. I even tuned the tv to the right channel to watch WitchBlade, but it was only 8 o'clock, and when next I looked up from the fic I'd dived into, it was 10:30. Oops.
I felt sort of flattened by the end of yesterday. Aikido, yes, but I hadn't anything to change into, and it wasn't until 7, and I just wanted to go home and sleep. I didn't, I know myself better - naps are lovely things, but I do need to eat. And read - Convergent Series by Larry Niven, and then fic until bedtime. Reading seems to put me into this other world where I don't really have to bother with reality. Even when it includes the roomie.
"There's no dial tone, but we're still getting calls, and the callerid isn't working."
'That's nice. I'll call the phone people in the morning.'
Maybe. I'm not feeling terribly charitable, and it's not like I use the phone. Much.
