The good news
Nov. 18th, 2001 06:10 pmI saw Harry Potter this morning. The 10:15am show, so the only line was a short one waiting for the box office to open, and the theatre wasn't even half full.
Ooooh. Oh yeah. Hot shit. I would be willing to see this again, in the theatre, and pay full price for it. It was that good. My first quibble was that I thought the centaurs on Hercules and Xena loked much nicer, but I suppose the entire movie can't be perfect.
Want more. Wantwantwantwant.
I also want to see LotR. Like now. Like, I'll even reread the books that I tossed in 5th grade for being unimaginably dense. I'll give it a whirl, sure.
Because, guh- When Gandalf stands there and says 'You will not pass' (or a paraphrase thereof), it brought tears to my eyes. Seriously. And I even know what happens.
Whuff.
And I talked to Mom and Dad on the phone, and got the return at Target processed lickety split and now I think I'll have gnocchi with some four cheese sause. Mmmmm
