Green bears
Aug. 15th, 2002 09:11 amI love my mom.
I mean, just in case you missed it the first thousand times or so: I completely adore her.
She sent me bears.
She found the first one in a little shop in Kansas a while back, and I admired him when I was there in May. Soft chenille, pretty little brown eyes and a beautiful peridot green. Then she got another one to keep the first one happy, and another for Dad's birthday, and then of course, she asked me if I wanted a bear. (My birthday presents are rarely complete surprises.)
Of course I wanted one. And he - they - came yesterday. One little bear, and one big bear, and get this - Mom taped a straw through the package so they could breathe on the way out from Kansas! They had a snorkel!
I brought the little one with me to work today. I keep looking at it and going 'Awwww.'
