Sep. 23rd, 2002 09:03 amI don't have a favorite book. I can't ever narrow it down that far anymore. I don't even have a single favorite author: both Jane Austen and Eric Flint share the dubious honor of being the two people for whom I would grovel at their feet and beg to bear their children. Well, except for that tiny little problem that dear ole' Jane's rather dead. Details, details.
Anyway, I adore Eric. This article on downloading music by Janis Ian makes me want to just cuddle him and hug him and squeeze him and call him George. Er... Eric. Whatever.
I'm in my little hallway at Harborview today. <sarcasm> Woo. </sarcasm>
Yesterday was beautiful - it was slightly chilly in the house in the morning, but when I let Calvin out, I noticed that it was sunny and gorgeous on the back porch, so I stayed out there all afternoon. If we weren't chronically short of hands on the help desk, I'd play hooky today. The one drawback to my office here is that I can see the high, skating clouds and blue sky out over the Sound. *whimper*
