My computers are telling me something.
My PC here at work will not delete all of the files I transferred onto it yesterday (while re-formatting the external) And since I'd put them on the desktop, it becomes 6G of files the computer has to load when I log in. So I can't log in unless I go in as an Administrator.
My Mac has given up all ability to see the Network. It's trying to assign itself IP addresses that are not University IP numbers. And this, just as I've found Mozilla to be an adequate Mac parallel for Opera on the PC (it's all about the tabs,) and I'm rediscovering the glories of IM with iChat. Apparently it's been flaky all day, but I didn't notice it until I couldn't get my slash fix anymore.
Ah!
The DSL modem arrived yesterday, but I didn't notice until about 10, when I was taking out the recycling and shutting of lights and all that. I plugged it in, of course, but something tells me the DSL line isn't activated (It's either the incredible psychic powers or that green flashing light. Not sure which.) I should call Drizzle, but it's not going to do me any good until I get home.
I'd just like to put a little request into the PTB: DSL this weekend? Pretty please with sparkly dancing boys on top?
