Lori and Ali woke me with minutes to spare before we had to leave for dim sum this morning. I was awake, but in denial.
"Misha? Are you awake?"
"Sort of."
"Misha? Do you know it's 10:30?"
"Sort of."
"And we have to be there at 11, and it takes 15 minutes to get there?"
"Yes."
It was all part of my master plan - to get there just as they were serving the first bit of dim sum. Yeah. That's the ticket.
Oh, it was gooooooood. Kasha and her friend Renee that we'd met last night for Thai and the aborted dancing trip, and two of her work mates (whose names, of course, having heard them only once, I promptly forgot.) Just enough people for a really good pile of all sorts of things. Dumplings and sticky rice and pot-stickers and calamari and tea. Can't forget the tea.
I'm going to try to get some weeding done this morning before the rain comes again. Ali and Lori are off to Walmart.
