Got paid today, and balanced the checkbook, (woo! go me!) so I don't feel nearly as poor and downtrodden by my finances as I was yesterday.
I'm still in an uncertain zone - don't know whether I'll be accepted to grad school and thus scrambling to finance those first two quarters, or... well, I haven't made any plans, so having alternate plans to the considerable lack of a plan is sort of out of the question.
I'm ready to take dance classes again. Ballroom, I think. Something that will give me the excuse to wear a dress.
I'm itching with spring this week. I blame it on growing up in California, with spring coming hard on the heels of fall. I want to plant things. I was poking through the catalogue at Raintree Nursery today, from a link in my p-patch mailing list, and I'm in considerable plant-want. It's hard to plant orchards when you live in a condo. Or even a single indoor citrus.
The temptation to order a tea plant was nearly overwhelming.
I've managed to restrain myself, however, and am planning all sorts of veggie things for the garden instead. Carrots and cucumbers and edamame for kicks. Maybe blueberries. Or huckleberries.
