Daily blah
May. 26th, 2004 08:47 pmMade another run over to Fremont today, all for 5 minutes of work once the computer was actually *there*.
No sushi, and I didn't get to send off those books to Rhi (that have been sitting under my desk for a month) because I'd forgotten to seal the package. So I hauled them all the way there and all the way back.
Much grumpier today - the cold is back in force, and my concentration is shot. Also, my boss took the day off, so I am rather jealous and a tad miffed. My coming 5-day weekend is, of course, completely beside the point.
My living room is a disaster area right now. I'd hauled up some of my document boxes to go through them - sort, file and recycle, but I'm mid project and stalled out, of course. I need some serious weekend sleeping in, and then I can finish tackling it. I've already recycled an entire box worth of old papers and such, so things are looking up.
I also found my old Organic Chemistry notes, and with it, yet another reason I didn't do so well. I was so bored in class I'd take the notes on one side of the paper, and doodle/write/scribble on the other. Speaking of grades and classes - the prof for the English class I want to take this summer reassured me that the class won't be full by the time I can register (the third day of class - tuition waivers suck in that manner.)
Going to hole up in bed with tea and knit a bit before I succumb to sleep.
