Well, I just asked Jennifer to lump my membership in with the Escapade scholarship: if I do leave town in February, it'll be to see my parents, and having it roll over for yet another year is just silly. I do love the con, but my close circle of friends isn't into or has drifted away from slash, and if I do group activities, I prefer to do them with people I know well: random lj acquaintances are fun, but *exhausting*!
I'd show for another Eyriecon - that's another story entirely.
ltlj just linked to this story, which has comedic sheep in it, and I think I might have a cramp in my side from stifling the hysterical laughter. When did I miss this?
My brother has finally met a girl he's interested in, and he sent me an email that was all excitement, telling me about their first date. Can I pinch his cheeks now?
The blue in my hair is fading to green. I don't like it near so much. The only question is, do I wait for the weekend or do it some evening this week?
I started my run/walk thing again today. 20 minutes means only 4 sings on the iPod, so they have to be well-chosen. Happily, the iPod keeps my head from spinning in 'are-we-done-yet?' circles. Well, mostly.
These new Dell Optiplex SX280s suck. That's two that have bluescreened on me today.
I'm lusting over Elann again. Yarns, of course - new stocks of alpaca, sock yarns, random pretties... And a year's subscription to their sample skeins. Weekly!
I dislike winter. I've said it before, but right now my particular peeve is that the minute I walk outside, the darkened sky will immediately suck out any will to actually do errands (such as groceries for my poor, naked larder) and instead I will hurry home and hide myself away. Also, can't dig up my leeks in the dark. Thank goodness I have taken it upon myself to exercise at noon.
