Ah well - An Ideal Husband just ended. I think I need to read up on more Oscar Wilde. He's a scream! And also, delightfully English.
Made cheesy potato soup Monday night, and I've one serving left for tomorrow. Do wish I had a bit of bread, but I haven't quite gotten up the oomph to actually go to the store. It should be soon: I'm almost out of sugar for my tea, and while it's unneccessary for green and white tea, it's absolutely essential for morning black tea. (I'm such a heathen: I sweeten the pot, rather than the cup.)
Didn't run today. Didn't walk either, which is what I did the last two days. I work up quite enough of a sweat just doing that, really. In any case, the treadmills were full, but the pool was not. At least not initially. And then all these dreadfully slow boys jumped in and slugged along and made me pass them and weren't even fit enough to ogle. I missed my running music, too.
Oops. Just realized that I was going to knit while watching my movie, and I was up and down so much peeing (two pots of tea will do that to a body) that I didn't even pick it up. I'm halfway around the bottom of the Einstein Coat from The Knit Stitch, and it's getting huge and bulky. Which is what it's supposed to do, as warm is the object of coat-type things, but it gets a bit awkward to knit when you've got people crammed into the bus so they're almost sitting on you.
I finally found the comics I promised Te before the holidays: all the animated series-style stuff. Between WoW taking over my gaming time from CoH and DC doing stupid things with the Bat-Family in their recent story lines (I haven't even read WarGames: just the spoilers make me go bleah), my almost-jump back into comics has been stalled out. I'm still attached to all my Elfquest, but I think I can begin to let the DC go. (Fly, my pretties, fly!)
