Just back from the Oscar party at G&P's. I got to dress up and everything! Whee! There are movies I think I should watch now. Only I'm forgetting most of them. This year's stuff I can look up, but some of the references we were throwing out - there were one or two... Urk. Brain's a sieve - only the large bits stay; G can have his Orlando Bloom fetish so long as I can lay claim to David Wenham and Karl Urban. Mmmmm... Faramir and Eomer...

I should probably mention that I finally broke down and ordered the trilogy - all three extended versions bundled together. And then I sat and watched certain scenes (Houses of Healing) over and over again. I'm still a bit bitter that the Rabidpug group talked over my favorite scenes when we watched the extended version together, but private viewings are making things better.

In other wackiness, I got one of those little water fountain filter things for the cats. I'm such a sucker.
