Queen of the World for just one day
Aug. 13th, 2005 09:22 amBloody tabby was back this moring, but I am queen of the world today and shooed him away without pissing Laurier off at all.
The bridesmaid's dress was obtained yesterday. I of course, was gorgeous. It helped that Ali's fairly laid back and not bridezilla when it comes to style, so I talked her over to trying to convince her other two to getting this style. She was going for tea length, but those styles all had weird belts. Floor length, with a pair of white ballet flats (I'm the tallest, so I get the flat shoes. Her sister, who is much shorter, likes the spike heels anyway.) Also, I confirmed Ali's good taste for choosing peridot as her color.
We were too early for the bridal thing, and wandered through Barnes and Noble, where I didn't buy anything *shock!* and Nordstrom Rack, where I picked up a little black linen skirt and a cashmere scarf. Mmmm. Cashmere. It goes in the drawer of course, for a few months, but that is the way of clearance shopping sometimes.
