I've been gorging myself on Bujold lately. All the early Miles books, up to Mirror Dance (I think I'm missing Memory from my collection, and after Komarr, they're all hardbacks, and thus packed.)
So instead I picked up Curse of Chalion yesterday morning and just finished. Glorious book, with this final blessing from one character to another that put tears to my eyes:
"This is a true prophecy, as true as yours ever were. When the souls rise up in glory, yours shall not be shunned nor sundered, but shall be a prize of the gods' gardens. Even your darkness shall be treasured then, and all your pain made holy."
