Knitting merrily along

So the new sock is going swimmingly, I haven't heard about the lost sock, the sacrifice sock, the sock who has gone to the place of forgotten things... le sigh.

Anyhoo, it's a little big for me, but I'm thinking Dru needs a pair of hand knit socks for his size 13 tootsies. Not that he'll wear them anytime soon, because a) I'm a slow knitter and b) it's getting into shorts and bare-feet weather. But at least they're wool, so he won't get all up with the 'cotton kills!' ranty-bits about wearing inappropriate clothing in the back country...

I seriously started thinking about taking today off. I had a headache developing yesterday afternoon, and I contemplated crying migraine... it's just too beautiful to be chained to a desk. ... And my coworker just left 20 minutes early. 'Sick' with a smile on his face. Hmmm...

It's supposed to be similarly nice tomorrow, rain in the evening, and I started thinking about blowing off painting my bathroom for garden work. Now I'm thinking more along the lines of just taking a blanket out onto the park grass and just soaking up the sun.
