I can partially blame yesterday on the massive splitting headache that plagued me for most of the day, but it's a theme with me - my get up and go doesn't start going until day 2 of day-offness. So if I want a full, productive weekend? I need 3 days. Le sigh.
On the got things done side, I taped my bathroom walls, only need the paint now. Did a bit of weeding in my p-patch; yay for leaf mulch leaving me little to do. My scawny little over-winder lettuces are nice and leafy now. I'll harvest for salad-y bits when they don't have weed-root dirt all over them (like tomorrow, since the rain should have cleaned them off.) Found the article on brioche stitch, and yep, the swatch I did over 4 times in 'Fisherman's rib'? Brioche. It's a nifty looking stitch though, and just bliss for my fingers to knit in alpaca. Mmmm. Alpaca. I'm finding the same sort of happy-finger-pleasure with my new bamboo needles. Crystal Palace is the way to go, forget the harsher feel of Takumi.
