Internet-less!

So I had this extended blonde moment. I signed up for auto-pay on my cell phone lo these many months ago. And somewhere in my brain, a little voice said 'ok, so you can just ignore the phone bill from now on. Whee!' Only. The little voice is a dumb ass, and not paying your *home* phone bill, the one with the DSL? Gets you cut off. Moron.
I was home sick last week from Wednesday on, and mid-morning Friday I was sitting there on WoW and boom - disconnect. (Thank goodness I was in the bank instead of mid-fight or something) No dial tone either. So I went frantic, and managed to figure it out and get everything set up again, but because it was a full disconnect, I don't get service back until Wednesday.
Heh. Good thing I didn't sign up for weekend raids. Although I am bummed that I missed Karaoke this weekend. :(
I spent both Saturday and Sunday out in the garden, working on my plot and at a work party. Sunshine! Goodness me! I've got leeklets sprouting up all over the place and the damn strawberries are *still* producing! The catnip and mints are trying to escape the pots I'd planted them in (standard 1 gal black thingees) and I've moved them into deeper ones that are basically holding up the raised beds. I think I'll do the same thing to the sages. I still need to rip out the tomatoes and bury everything in what leaves I can find, but leaves are being slow to fall around here so far.
I also watched the end of Buffy S6 (A season I think I'm going to pretty much avoid, since it's all whoa with the angst) and all of S7, which I absolutely adore. I've seen all the post-show fic, (well, not all, but lots) and I wanted to fit canon into my shiny little head, see where they took Xander and Faith and Andrew and all that. And Spike, which means the last season of Angel is on my Netflix list right now. And, since I need to do something with my hands while watching, I got quite a bit of the baby blanket done for my coworker - that needs to be done by the end of the month and then I start work on a comissioned Jayne hat.
With the Jayne hat yarn, I'm thinking of getting some Suri Dream and doing a big fast Feather&Fan throw - basically the one straight out of KnitPicks. I still have a similar blanket my grandmother made me in a light blue.
