One Month

One month into the new job, and newboss likes me and my initiative (which, a little bit duh, since we were friends before and that's why he hired me.) But also my grandboss was impressed by me first day and I keep making a good impression. We're a bit busy, but not like we will be when the Big Project comes on board. (Big Project is waiting on another university to sign a contract we can piggyback, but in the mean time, there's lots of groundwork to lay.) And then we do things like take a walk at lunch to see the cherry trees blooming in the quad. Work life is good.
