Tired now. Belly-dance practice, and then I walked home.

I've been busy lately. I feel more out of it the days I work at Harborview, and I'm trying to help Tom out with the cranky calendar server, so I was there again today, and will be there tomorrow. Ick.

Dru's been saving me at lunchtime lately: Ivars on the waterfront with his friend yesterday and Atlas in the UVillage with Ali today. Yesterday I blew off a little work after we left Ivars, and Dru and I peeked into his friend's office (ooh, with the pretty) and then wandered up to the Market. As we were walking up the steps, he asked me if we were shopping. "Well, no. We're only browsing. As soon as we buy something, then we're shopping."

I may have accidentally shopped. Tripped, fell, my wallet flew open, the credit card landed on the desk, and before I knew it, I was walking out with a bag in hand. Twice!

The first was a little middle eastern import shop, where I got a coin scarf for my class tonight, and the second was (predictably enough) a bookstore. I found a Find there. Not even a Find - a Score. I've been putting off getting the latest edition of the D&D books for gaming because they're bloody expensive, and I've got enough of the damned things already. Yesterday, I found the core trio on sale, in pristine condition, for used prices. Four books in all, for the price of one and a half. I'm still crowing a bit over that.

I got to talk gaming with Kris last night (and a few other things in between) when we headed with Dru to sushi in Fremont. I sort of forgot my wallet, which had my bus pass, so we walked over and managed to have enough change to bus back. Chisos is good sushi, with a lovely atmosphere. I'll have to wander Fremont some more - there's a neighborhood worth exploring.

Dru's got his Seattle errands done: bank and driver's license (hee - he had to take the test twice) and he has to be back in Colorado Friday, so he'll be taking off tomorrow morning. Piffle. I won't miss his crap strwn around the living room, but I'll definitely miss him.

And now, two surveys for the reader's amusement )
